Pedigree and performance
Vigado was born on 4 April 2018 and bred by Witt Pferdezucht GbR in Wellinghusen. He is by Vigo d'Arsouilles out of Goya by Quo Vados I, his granddam is Tora II by Cash and Carry, and he comes from Holsteiner damline 776. In 2020 he was champion stallion of the Holsteiner licensing. In his sport test in Verden in March 2022 he scored a jumping-weighted final mark of 8.81.
In competition
As a five-year-old Vigado won young show jumper classes up to L level with Sophie Hinners. With Lucas Wenz he qualified twice for the Bundeschampionat and won youngster tours in Neumünster, Neustadt (Dosse), Herning and Donaueschingen. In 2025 he won several international youngster tours and placed at the Bundeschampionat and at the World Championship for young show jumpers.
Vigado as a sire
Two Vigado sons were licensed at the most recent Holsteiner licensing, and one of them, Vigado's Level, also stands at the Verband stallion station. His offspring are described as beautiful, long-legged, elegant and athletic, with good movement. Vigado suits typey, correct mares with enough length of leg.
