Crack
National champion of six-year-old show jumpers with Richard Vogel and now a sought-after sire at the Holsteiner Verband stallion station. Here you will find his profile and every horse from our breeding that carries Crack blood.
Pedigree and performance
Crack was born on 22 May 2015 in Spain, bred by Campos Cria de Caballos de Deporte. He is by Cornet Obolensky out of a Candillo mare, with Aloube Z as granddam sire. Corcega la Silla by Casall and Inar C by Quidam de Revel come from the same family. In his 2020 sport test in Verden he scored a final mark of 9.25, the best result of all five-year-old show jumpers in Germany, including a 10.0 for rideability.
In competition
With Richard Vogel, Crack won almost every young horse class he entered. In 2021 he became state and national champion of six-year-old show jumpers. He went on to place internationally up to 1.50 m and in 2024 won advanced classes at Donaueschingen and at the German Masters in Stuttgart.
Crack as a sire
Two sons from his first crops have already been licensed, Crackeur and Call me Crack. His daughter Operetta (out of a Casall mare) was champion of the 2024 Holsteiner Verband mare show. Crack passes on athleticism, rideability and a good temperament, and suits mares with a smoothly connected topline.
